Eligibility for Admission

As prescribed by Anna University of Technology, candidates should have appeared in the TNPCEE / AIEEE or any other entrance examinations conducted by recognized bodies or associations or as per the revised regulations of the Govt. of Tamil Nadu.

Candidates should have obtained the minimum marks as prescribed by Anna University of Technology to be eligible for admission.

Minimum Marks

• For H.Sc. academic, vocational, and diploma holders, the minimum average marks in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry should be:
  • OC: 50%
  • BC: 45%
  • MBC: 40%
• Candidates should have passed the qualifying examinations in not more than 2 appearances. In case of improvement examination, only the first improvement will be considered.

Eligibility for SC/ST Candidates

• A mere pass in the qualifying examinations in not more than 3 appearances will be sufficient.
• In case of improvement examination results, only the first improvement will be considered.
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST from outside Tamil Nadu will be considered as OC only.
• The age limit for all candidates other than SC/ST is 21 years. For Diploma Holders and SC/ST candidates, there is no age limit.
